DMR Corporate was founded in 1994 as an independent company specialising in securities and business valuations. These services are provided for corporate and forensic purposes.

Its two directors, Derek Maxwell Ryan and Paul Lom, were both partners in large international accounting practices and they possess extensive international experience.

DMR Corporate holds Australian Financial Services Licence No. 222050, authorizing it to provide reports in relation to proposed or actual mergers, acquisitions, takeovers, corporate restructures or share issues. These reports are commonly referred to as "Independent Expert's Reports".
